We recently worked with Maybelline on an activation that was to go live during London Fashion Week in February. Maybelline have recently rebranded, with a brand new strapline #DareToGoNude and they needed a digital photo booth experience to fit within the requirements of something completely new and different.
With our brief, we chose to run the Mirror Photo Booth which is our newest piece of technology; a photo booth that is completely concealed behind a glass mirror. The concept of the Mirror photo booth has been bubbling away for some time at Noonah HQ, and while it is pretty simple, this has taken us over a year to research and make sure that it will work flawlessly for our new and existing clients. This was the perfect event for this photo booth to make one of its first appearances on the event scene.
The Mirror Photo Booth digital screen was customised to ensure it was on-brand and incorporated their latest logos and designs. Rather than using an ornate gold frame surround (which comes as part of the standard package) we custom built a sleek black frame to match their blush pink and black colour palette, too.
On site, we provided an event manager and a brand ambassador to run the Mirror throughout the four-day event. Guests got the chance to have their make-up done during the shows by one of the MUA’s on the Maybelline stand, and were then able to take the perfect posed shot of the final makeover on our Mirror Booth. We actively encouraged the guests to share their photos on social media and email via our social sharing stand. Not only that, but the guests also got to take away their photos as a memento of the event.
Because the Mirror booth was on-brand, as well as fitting the client’s criteria, everyone loved it and could not quite believe that it was actually a glass mirror and photo booth all in one, giving a real fun shock which certainly left a lasting impression. Overall, our client was extremely happy with the Mirror and what it had to offer as a guest experience.
