14th December was the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day, where people all over the UK were asked to ear a woolly jumper and make a donation to Save the Children. All the money raised goes towards saving children’s lives.
We provided a branded photo booth to encourage staff involvement at Head Office, and for clients, fundraisers and friends of Save the Children at an evening event at Union Chapel Islington to raise the event’s media profile. The aim was to increase Facebook ‘Likes’ and Twitter followers, as well as increase the trending on Twitter of #xmasjumperday. We had two ushers there manning the branded photo booth and uploading and sharing photos on Facebook and Twitter. The photos were fully branded by our in-house graphics team and looked great!
The theme was fun and Christmassy – all staff had to wear Christmas jumpers to get into the spirit of the event! There were gift bags and music…and a very festive feel in the air. However, of course there was a very serious side to the proceedings – and that was to draw attention to the plight of children all over the world. We are proud to be associated with Save the Children and their fundraising efforts. Please go to their Facebook page and ‘Like’ them, or follow them on Twitter.
