Social media is a huge way to promote companies and we can provide the best tools to capture the social media craze! With ASOS having over 2.7 million likes on Facebook and also has over half a million followers on Twitter.
ASOS were able to tweet and write status’s about what they had happening at the universities, where events were being held. This was amazing for ASOS as they had these tools to hand, and could keep promoting throughout the day. This encouraged more students to come into university, even if they didn’t have lectures on that day, for the chance to use our dreambooth & take part in the competition.
ASOS engaged students by using our social media booth and setting up a competition where students could win £400 worth of clothes for 50 students at each event! This means they were giving away £20,000 worth of clothes at each university!
The competition was to find 5 hotspots around their campus and the fastest 50 people would win £400 worth of clothes! One of the hotspots was our dreambooth, this allowed students to wear ASOS props and have their pictures printed to keep, along with the opportunity to upload them to Facebook and Twitter.
The universities we had exclusive access to were Leeds, Manchester, Brighton, Newcastle and Birmingham. All of these locations were a huge success with hundreds of people taking part in the competition and our social media booth.
