Thousands came through the doors at the Bull Ring last bank holiday weekend to celebrate the revamp of New Look’s Birmingham store. The dreambooth photo booth team were there to capture the glamorous makeovers of fellow party-goers, in New Look’s very own branded photo booth.
New Look is a high street fashion retailer with a chain of 1,000 stores internationally. With a fashion range predominantly aimed at women in the 16-30 year old age bracket; it also caters for men and children. On unveiling their new style, the first 100 lucky shoppers received exclusive goody bags, and customers were in with a chance of winning £250 to indulge in New Look’s gorgeous new autumn/winter collection. Customers were also spoilt with chocolate and cupcakes, whilst receiving complimentary lashes from Eyelure Lash Bar….and of course, the chance to have their funky new look recorded in the dreambooth branded photo booth.
New Look customised their dreambooth photo booth with a chic background image featuring the store’s logo. And our ushers were more than happy to model New Look’s clothing range!
The same repeated logo was used to brand the finished photos –no chance of people forgetting where these pictures came from! Copies of the photos were pinned to the outside of the photo booth throughout the day.
After using the photo booth, users were encouraged to look through their photos on nearby laptops, upload the images straight to New Look’s Facebook page – and ‘Like’ the page at the same time – acting as a great social marketing tool.
dreambooth photo booth ushers were on hand to help customers and to collect data for New Look before and after users entered the branded photo booth. Data gathered was saved and emailed to the company immediately.
And the results?
- Over 2700 people went through the photo booth
- 70% of photos taken were uploaded to Facebook
- Over 1400 Facebook ‘Likes’ were generated
Our branded photo booth was a huge success with the customers, and dreambooth were pleased to help New Look reinforce their, well, new look! Now, that’s what we call a dream event…..
